I have this great 50's Hawaiian dress I wear to a picnic next week. It is dark blue with red flowers and bright cut looks like this: http://www.poshgirlvintage.com/images/D146% 20% 20% 20.jpg

All my accessories are blue for the color red in dress, with the exception of the glasses are. I'm trying to find out how my hair and make-up do though. I lean on a pin-up look classic, but I fear that too much like a costume. How Do I Look 50's vintage rock without end?
