Novelty Mouse Pads Do I Even Really Need A "mouse Pad" Anymore?

Do I even really need a "mouse pad" anymore? - novelty mouse pads

Do not really need screen savers, with new screens, teacher-completed activities, etc., which are more a novelty.
Mats have been useful with older (trackball mouse-mouse?)
So what do we really need a mousepad with an optical mouse new?
This is ready for the trash ...

It depends on the surface of the mouse. With an optical mouse, you have to worry about reflection. I worked with a metal desk and not work at all optical mouse. I use a mouse pad. In fact, I had no mouse pad with me, so I construction paper, because it had a matte surface. And if the surface is rough, is the optical mouse does not work. I have the manual!

So to answer your question, yes, you may need a mouse pad of any kind, or alternatively be an old-fashioned.

I do not know who has a wireless optical mouse and not with the mouse pad that I have the same mouse for 4 years, no problem!

One can never really needed a mouse pad with scroll wheel mice, either, so no, we now need no more. If you do not like the sound of you scratching your mouse on the desktop or prevent damage to your office by crushing waste that will under the optical mouse and May still can.

It depends on the surface of the table that you use. If the surface is highly reflective, can interfere with an optical mouse. In addition, an area that a pattern so that it (including some wood grain) on a table can cause problems though, but rather changing the angle of reflection, through different colors. I saw many problems of optical mice with a solid platform color of the mouse.

If, after the surface that you can use the mouse pad still be necessary. But if yours works without it, then go ahead.

It does not need. But I definitely prefer to use an optical with my mouse. The fact that the mouse pad is a tool that easily slips perfectly smooth shiny surfaces and an optical mouse can cause errors.

If it's just surf the Internet every day, so you could stop it if you really want. For games I would definitely recommend a.

Good question! I use on my desk. I have to wear when I go to the kitchen table and I understood why. (I hate the touchpad on my laptop, then use a wireless mouse) I have the same problem when I try my laptop and use the mouse on the coffee table.

The reason for the need for a platform for the kitchen table and coffee table is that they are highly reflective. One is the plate and the other is made of glass. The optical mouse appears to be a signal distorted surfaces. But my desktop has a matte surface so that the mouse works there too.

It's just my theory, based on personal experience, but I hate dragging an item again, so he stayed with the keyboard, if I can help.

I hope that helps!

Screenshot Mousetray Engelbert videoDuring 1968 presentation by Douglas Engelbart marking the public presented a mouse [1], Engelbart used a control station by Jack Kelley of Herman Miller, which includes using a keyboard and a hand insertion developed as an area of mouse support. [1] [2]

According to Kelley [3], as I said, Alex Pang, [4] Kelley has the carpet one years later, drafted in 1969.

Information on a mousepad by Armando M. Fernandez were developed in the Xerox Disclosure Journal in 1979, with the description published [5]

CRT cursor control mechanism PAD
In order to operate a cathode ray tube pointer 10, to facilitate in which a ball rolled on a hard surface, can be used to extend platform. A tough, rubber-like material is 12 or otherwise bonded into a hard base material 14, which the rubber as the material plane always connected. The base has four rubber feet, for 16 on the opposite side of the elastic material on the piston slides on the surface of a table to prevent, for example.

In 1982 most users, the mouse trackball mouse is used for Xerox [6].

The Oxford English Dictionary follows the mouse pad the end of August 25, 1983, publication of InfoWorld, and most of the British carpet-term October 17, 1989 in the publication 3D [7].

Benefits
The three main advantages of the introduction of the mat have a higher speed, greater accuracy and ease of use. Another advantage is to the desk or table surface from scratches and keep borne by the hand and the constant movement of the mouse. Another advantage is the reduction of waste collection in mice, resulting in reduced jitter of the pointer on the screen. \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ U0026lt;br>
When using the optical mouse, the image sensors to detect movement was introduced first on the market, the sequences with special optical mouse pad printing needs. Modern optical mice can with an acceptable degree of accuracy on plain paper and other functional surfaces. However, some optical mouse users prefer May, a mousepad for comfort, speed and precision, and avoid the wear and tear on the desk or table surface.

Types
A variety of mouse pads are different textured surfaces to suit different types of technologies in mice. Imitation leather, because of its mass, is a popular mousepad surface around 1980. [Edit]

After the silicon surface coated rubber was incorporated into the surface of the steel-mouse role, is the surface of mouse mats woven man most appropriate. Helped to keep the rubber roller ball, cleaning the surface with better tracking, speed and accuracy gathered in one area of study, the dirt and move the mouse slowly.

Optical mice have the problem ofnot well on transparent or reflective surfaces (such as glass or polished wood). These areas, which often office space and a table, because the jitter and loss to follow up on the screen moves the cursor over these reflective points. With mousepads with precision surfaces to eliminate the effects of jitter on-site modern optical mice.

It would be nice if you put the mouse pad. I know what you mean. For the safety of your mouse you can buy one.

I suggest you have a mouse pad. With the table / office could he still a nervous mouse. At least in my view, if it is indeed a kind of buffer. I have a little cushion with a gel wrist rest.
